SUMMARY:Meet the Author - Jeremiah Bass
DESCRIPTION:During the Cozy Cocoa Crawl\, drop in to meet author Jeremiah Bass. Books are a good way to make it through the winter. He’ll have books for sale and signing. \nThe Book: \nThe Silver Screen\nReleased November 4th\, 2025 \nWyatt Gaumond’s solitary existence is crumbling\, much like the grandeur of the theater that he owned with his late wife\, June. But it’s not just the personal history that keeps him there; it’s the silver screen that enables him to travel to other forgotten cinemas around the world. On one journey through the screen\, he rescues a young woman\, Emma\, from a violent assault and offers her sanctuary in his own theater. However\, as the connections with the other theaters deteriorate\, so does Wyatt’s grasp on his own reality\, leaving it up to Emma to help him remember\, before he\, too\, is lost in the echoes of memory. \nAbout the Author: \nJeremiah Bass is an emerging author of speculative fiction\, literary fiction\, and personal essays. A native of southern Illinois\, he has earned advanced degrees in Curriculum & Instruction from Southern Illinois University and Creative Writing & Literature from Southern New Hampshire University. His stories and essays have been published in a wide variety of periodicals\, including The Smart Set Magazine\, BioStories\, Haunted Waters Press\, and Penmen Review. Jeremiah teaches English Composition and Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.   \nHe also writes under the pen name “Jay Bush” and has had several works published under that pseudonym.
