Visit each participating business February 14th-20th to have your card stamped. Once you collect 10+ punches\, turn your card back into any participating business to be entered to win the grand prize cozy basket!

But it’s not just the personal history that keeps him there; it’s the silver screen that enables him to travel to other forgotten cinemas around the world. On one journey through the screen\, he rescues a young woman\, Emma\, from a violent assault and offers her sanctuary in his own theater. However\, as the connections with the other theaters deteriorate\, so does Wyatt’s grasp on his own reality\, leaving it up to Emma to help him remember\, before he\, too\, is lost in the echoes of memory. \nAbout the Author: \nJeremiah Bass is an emerging author of speculative fiction\, literary fiction\, and personal essays.  A native of southern Illinois\, he has earned advanced degrees in Curriculum & Instruction from Southern Illinois University and Creative Writing & Literature from Southern New Hampshire University. His stories and essays have been published in a wide variety of periodicals\, including The Smart Set Magazine\, BioStories\, Haunted Waters Press\, and Penmen Review. Jeremiah teaches English Composition and Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.   \nHe also writes under the pen name “Jay Bush” and has had several works published under that pseudonym.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 18th annual St. Valentine’s Day Hustle! Come one come all\, bring your friends so you can trounce them in a friendly alley cat bike race\, racing around scenic lake Menomin.\nRegistration is from 11 – 1245 at Zymurgy Brewing\nRace will begin at 1:00 PM SHARP leaving for the start from the brewery. Entrance fee is $10 (must be 21+ to enter) Race ends back at Zymurgy.\nBring a bike\, a pen or marker\, $10 and some stamina. It is also recommended to be prepared for any circumstances. Terrain may be varied\, so bike selection is key!\nAlso stay for the bonfire 8pm on the lake!

DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Valentine’s Day outdoors at Wolske Bay with free ice skating\, free hot cocoa\, and a free shuttle to make getting there easy. Join us for a cozy winter afternoon on the ice\, where families\, friends\, and neighbors can skate together\, warm up with cocoa\, and enjoy the winter lights and sunset over the bay.\nThe event takes place on Saturday\, February 14\, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and is free and open to all ages. Whether you stay for the full afternoon or stop by for a quick skate\, this is a relaxed and festive way to spend Valentine’s Day enjoying winter in Menomonie.\nAll event parking is located at Lakeside Park. A free shuttle will run continuously between Lakeside Park and Wolske Bay from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.\, and Wolske Bay Road will be closed during the event. Limited handicap-accessible parking will be available directly at Wolske Bay Park.\nA variety of skate sizes will be available for use\, with loaner skates generously provided by American Edge Real Estate. A huge thank you to Nicole Keck\, Jeff Peterson\, and all of our amazing volunteers for helping light up the island and make this event possible.\nCome celebrate the season with us—bring your friends\, family\, and winter spirit!
