Event Description:
Experience a meaningful evening in Menomonie as the community honors the legacy of James Huff Stout, the visionary whose contributions to education, industry, and civic life helped shape the region. The event begins at the historic Wilson Place Museum, followed by a lantern-lit walk through downtown Menomonie and the UW–Stout campus. Along the route, participants will enjoy five brief narrative stops highlighting Stout’s lasting impact on Wisconsin’s history and educational landscape.
Following the walk, guests are invited to Olde Towne Menomonie at 7:00 PM for a special presentation by Jerome Poling, author of An Idea Comes of Age – UW–Stout, offering deeper insight into Stout’s remarkable legacy.
