Climb the Panorama Tower.

Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area offers over 700 acres of preserved and restored wooded hills, wetlands and prairie scattered with hiking and cross-country skiing trails. But the real draw to this area is the 60-foot-high observation tower, crowning one of the highest points in Dunn County and offering spectacular views for miles. This is a must-see in the fall to take in the breathtaking fall foliage. Though Menomonie is rich with natural beauty, the Devil’s Punchbowl is a real gem, especially to first time visitors. A short walk from the parking lot leads to a winding set of wood stairs, surrounded by overhanging branches and various greenery. Upon reaching the bottom of the ravine, enjoy the unique beauty and peacefulness of the site all around you. This ancient glacial deposit is a must-see for visitors of all ages!
