The UW-Stout Jazz Embers are a student-led college jazz combo, under the guidance of Dr. Aaron Durst, performing classic jazz standards. Drawing from swing, funk, blues, and Latin styles, the group emphasizes strong melodic lines, exploration of jazz styles, and jazz improvisation.
