Join us at Olde Towne Menomonie for a special evening presentation exploring the life, legacy, and lasting influence of James Huff Stout. Presented by Jerome Poling, author of “An Idea Comes of Age – UW–Stout“, this talk offers a rich, engaging look at the man whose visionary leadership helped shape education, industry, and civic life in Menomonie and across Wisconsin.

Poling will share stories, insights, and historical context surrounding Stout’s founding of the Stout Manual Training School, his innovations in public service, and the extraordinary impact that continues to define the community today. This program is an excellent opportunity for history enthusiasts, UW–Stout alumni, students, and anyone interested in Menomonie’s heritage.

The Olde Towne Bar will be open, and guests are welcome to enjoy dinner beforehand or drinks during the presentation.
