Celebrate the release of the community cookbook, “Less Salt, More Sugar, a Little Wine: Cooking in Old Age,” collected and written by Susan Thurin. Susan will talk about the cookbook briefly and then have a conversation with all present about cooking in old age– how we’ve changed our food and cooking habits and so on. Others who have contributed recipes, ideas, and photos will be available to add their two cents. There will be a little tasting also. She’ll bring her raisin pie and we’ll have other recipes to taste as well.
