About the Book:
The Winter Wrath, Blue Heart Troll explains why Carol, half indigenous, must leave her husband because of his habits and abuse. She must leave her car because the husband keeps her car keys. So, she and her 3 children take a cab to catch the bus to Waco, TX, to stay with her mother and husband, who is indigenous. Carol is a dream seer and can hear the guy downstairs mentally talking to her. But she tries not to let him know. She can also receive his filthy sexually explicit images, if she dozes. Then, Carol meets a great landlord who rents to her and gives her a job. (They eventually become friends.) He doesn’t believe she’s being harassed by the young man in the middle apartment. She lives in the top apartment, while two indigenous girls move into the basement apartment. Claine, the boy below her, starts out slow trying to get into her head. Then, he starts sending up images when she dozes in the hope she’ll partake in ceiling sex. He rams the ceiling more and more until finally, he’s sometimes keeping her up all night. One night, about 5 am, he mentally rapes her with cues. But it’s the young girls who get traumatized eventually, while Carol and a handyman, who works on the apartments, starts following Claine because one of the indigenous girls has been kidnapped.
