June 24-28, 2026
Murals in Menomonie is a collaborative community initiative bringing a one-of-a-kind mural event to Menomonie in June 2026.
This large-scale public art event will bring artists, residents, and visitors together to celebrate creativity, wellness, and community pride. Over the course of the event, murals will be created throughout the community, transforming public spaces and leaving a lasting visual and cultural impact.
Murals in Menomonie is designed to do more than add color to walls. The project supports mental well-being, encourages physical activity through walkable art experiences, and enriches Menomonie’s public art landscape. By creating shared experiences and meaningful places, the event strengthens community connections and reinforces Menomonie’s identity as a creative and welcoming city.
The impact of Murals in Menomonie will extend well beyond the event itself. The murals will serve as a lasting legacy of artistic expression, community collaboration, and local pride, enhancing the city’s landscape and uplifting those who live in and visit Menomonie for years to come.
Murals in Menomonie is a collaborative effort between the City of Menomonie, Community Foundation of Dunn County, Downtown Menomonie, Explore Menomonie, Dunn County Historical Society, University of Wisconsin–Stout, and Vintage Sign Shop.
