Lace up your hiking boots and let your legs guide you along the beautiful Red Cedar State Trail. Then, take a trip across the river to the Lake Menomin Loop for a 8.3 mile route around the lake on paved trails and sideswalks that wind through urban, rural, and lakeside areas.

Head out of town to Hoffman Hills State Recreational Area for a full day of hiking. The area offers 700 acres of preserved and restored wooded hills, wetlands and prairie traversed with hiking and cross-country skiing trails. A 60-foot-high observation tower crowns one of the highest points in Dunn County, offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, especially in autumn. No park or trail pass needed.
